When it is ready, will there be a way  to get synchronized camera frames ? Because for stereo cameras it is interesting to have frames in sync...

Hi ,

Any news regarding the OV13850 on ubuntu ?
Do you know when the ISP driver will  be available ?

Last I heard this was due to be upstreamed in linux kernel in a couple weeks, that was several months ago. I've been following development here however and have only seen Android updates.

Is there any update on this topic?

If OV13850 is working on Android, then the linux drivers must be in place. What is pending to get it running for Ubuntu?

Could someone help?

Thanks,
San

I'm planning to get an RK-3399 board with OV13850.. hope there is proper linux support for the camera. if not could you please inform the timeline for the updated firmware to be released. Just asking the same question as the others in this post.. however, would like to get a 'clear picture'(pun intended ) before I buy the board.

Any update on the OV13850 driver for linux??

Hi,

This issue is also very relevant to us. We require using the MIPI CSI2 camera interface under linux for firefly rk3399.

When would support for camera under linux be available?

Hi,
Would you guys at Firefly please let know when the linux firmware with camera support, be released? this thread's been running for more than an year. It would be really helpful if you could at least give the timelines.

It has been 2 months.
I can compile my own kernel, but I still need a driver to compile and firmware for the MIPI-CSI2 interface to work.
What is the status?
Thanks!

Thank you for telling me where I can find the firmware.
I have 2 questions:
1. Is there another way to get it? The website gives me this message "安装最新版网盘客户端" which says that I need to install a network disk client. It is an exe file for windows. I am running Linux, of course.
2. What is it about Debian that makes it work? The kernel's version? Some missing software?
Thanks!

Thanks penguin. You did not really say EXACTLY HOW you got it to work. That is a very very important thing. I will ask for details in the other thread.

Hi @margaretmei
If you read that thread carefully, you'll find out the answer.
Besides the source code of the  camera's modification has been published
to the github.
