Don't work for me. When I try to flash Xubuntu IMG in SD_Firmware_Tool, he crashed... Why?
Author: psycmos    Time: 6/2/2015 01:44
It not crash, the .img takes some time to load but works!!
The big problem is the graphics, we still without any linux dist or linux with hw video acceleration.

Any idea how to enable it?

SD_Firmware_Tool has crashed, when I click "Create" he display error "the program has stopped working". When I try to flash other IMG, from Firefly, all is OK. Why that happened?

Hi lin_jc,
how have you proceed to build Xubuntu enviroment for the RK3288?
This support the 802.11ac WiFi from the AP6335?
What kernel version have you compiled? And how have you build the img?

Best,
Stefano.

SD_Firmware_Tool is not support to flash Xubuntu IMG to SD card, because the parameter is different from android, and the SD_Firmware_Tool just apply to android.

Hi all:
If RK3288 gpu have gstreamer plugin for hw decoder?
Author: busybee    Time: 3/7/2016 16:34
AFAIK,  there're no gstreamer plugin for hw decoder. All current works are based on ffmpeg.
