these two boards have very little changes,so it shouldn't show different results with the same image,
Can you use the SDcard when the system is ready?(android or ubuntu )
please make sure the hardware is ok.

I have tried boot a ubuntu image from SDCard with the hardware version "20160623" like yours, But I haven't get any error log of mmcblk0 like yours .
So,about your debian image, did you make it by yourself? which kernel did you use?

All of them have the issue?

Could you send your firmware (with SDCard boot) to me,and I will check whether it is have the same issue on my board.
