Q2: your device is B-key ,you need a adapter like this: http://shop.t-firefly.com/goods.php?id=53
Q3 this firmware have only  ubuntu without android in it.

Q1: yes, you need modify the hardware.
Q2:It looks like can be used.
Q3:Yes, you need backup your installation.
