RK3399 Android 7.1 settings app failure*** Accidental duplicate post***

I have tried multiple times to flash the newest GMS version Android 7.1 onto my RK3399. It works fine until I try to  get into the setting menu. I get the error "Settings Keeps stopping." What am I doing wrong, or is this a firmware issue? Thanks in advance.

go to "/system/etc/permissions/"  with adb shell, then delete a xml named  "***printer**".

Had the same issue, somehow managed to resolve that, thanks!

Another problem - I have this 7,85" eDP display and the latest Android 7.1 version doesn't seem to support it. Any ideas how to fix it? (The screen was tested with 6.0 - working)

I'll try that, but I doubt it can support google apps. As far as I remember, that version had GMS certification issues. Can you include support for all of the acessories along with GMS certification in your next build? They aren't supposed to be mutually exclusive
Update: the 6.0 version of the firmware doesn't allow to access ADB. Already tried factory reset - nothing. 7.1 hangs when I try to root it and can't rotate the screen, I don't want to break my neck watching 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

May I know the steps to delete the file?  Thank you.

Below are the steps:  I got a permission error.
Linux Prompt:
>adb root
>adb shell
ADB Shell Prompt:
>cd /system/etc/permissions
>rm *print*
