nope
just decompress the dualboot image , change your custom image.
kernel.img or other image just overwrite it . And use mkimage.sh to rebuild it into a update.img without any parameter or boot changing.
And, if the size of system.img or other image are bigger, u need to count your own size and modify the parameter.
