Hi, I have firefly RK3288 board and found new Ubuntu firmware image on Official Google drive.
One is,
FIREFLY-RK3288-UBUNTU18.04-GPT-20190219-1021.img.tar.gz
Newer is,
FIREFLY-RK3288-UBUNTU18.04-GPT-20190304-1214.img.tar.gz

I tried uncompressing them and flash to my board by AndroidTool v2.58.
At first, enter boot mode, then [EraseFlash] clicked.
Finaly [Upgrade] clicked, flashed it successfully.
Here is log after flash.

Hi @Mori99, can you flash back the old firmware?

The last resort is flashing in MaskRom mode.
