boot Ubuntu from sd card

        Now i tried in firefly basic ubuntu with the steps that you  provide and this>



        root@firefly:/media/firefly/6572-827D/Download/SD# ls
boot-linux.img             linux-rfs.img
create-android-sdcard      parameter-linux
create-linux-sdcard        resource-linux.img
create-sdcard.7z           RK3288Loader_uboot_V2.17.02.bin
downloadable-rfs-examples  Tools
kernel-linux.img
root@firefly:/media/firefly/6572-827D/Download/SD# ./create-linux-sdcard
bash: ./create-linux-sdcard: Permission denied
root@firefly:/media/firefly/6572-827D/Download/SD#


       

i have no lucky!  I think I'll give up....

and i am root and the commands

  1. [code]chmod 777 filename or
  2. [code]sudo chmod 777 -R /path/to/someDirectory dont change the atributes of the files/directory in firefly ubuntu!

chmod 777 file_on_FAT_file_system_on_SD_card
and
chmod 777 file_on_Linux_file_system_such_as_ext4


        make different result.



       



        Linux on PC(x86) and Linux on Firefly(ARM) are different too.



       

I don't recommend to assume Firefly(or anything) must be wrong, otherwise you'll lose a chance to learn more about Linux...

  1. finally i create the image on the sd card . But I had to do in a pc with linux because  live cd or in firefly i can]t creat. But I am disappointed because the wi-fi or bluetooth dont work!

Please, anybody can share link a IMG file to fully functional ubuntu 14 for firefly for my sd card?
