Hi there,

I didn't keep up with what was going on here in the last months.
Is there a newer Kernel around that is compatible with Ubuntu 16.04 and provides Mali-Support? Did anyone manage to provide a ready-to-go ubuntu-image with hardware accelerated GPU?

If not: does sb. want to buy my firefly rk3288?

So you havn't even tried Slackware Linux with mainline kernel and working Mali GPU acceleration with X11 yet?

having thought on this for a bit though now that there is a running version of the 4.6 kernel with Slackware I'm sure someone smarter then myself will be able to get a debian system running pretty soon

Actually: I didn't and honestly: I wont. I am used to debian and ubuntu for quite some years now and don't want to invest time in understanding how things work with slackware.
