Title: USB-to-UART Minicom input not working [Print This Page] Author: santo4ul Time: 11/6/2017 18:31 Title: USB-to-UART Minicom input not working Hi,
I followed instructions from http://wiki.t-firefly.com/index. ... 399/Serial_debug/en to setup my USB to UART module. I can see the board booting (with all kernel logs) on my minicom. However, my keyboard input is not being accepted. I'm not able to login using keyboard from minicom.
I've made sure that Hardware Flow Control is 'NO'.
What am I missing? Could someone help.
Thanks,
SanAuthor: santo4ul Time: 11/6/2017 18:50 Last edited by santo4ul In 11/17/2017 19:59 Editor
It started working after I swapped the GNG and RXD Pins.
On the USB-to-UART board, the left most pin is GND, Middle is TXD and the right most is RXD. The diagram in the above link has GND and RXD swapped, which is wrong.
Thanks,
San
