Title: HD camera module to use with FireFly

Hello,

We plan to use FireFly for aerial imaging, and I am choosing a camera module that best suits our needs (good sensitivity, high resolution, minimal distortions).

OV13850 looks as a good choice at the moment, but there are options, like SONY IMX135 or IMX214. Who has good experience with using camera modules, and which ones you can recommend?

Also I would appreciate if you could point me to sellers who can provide 1-4 items for research purposes at the moment.

OV13850 is good support on Firefly. Other camera I have not tried yet. But the max pixel RK3288 support is 14MP.

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your reply. I have ordered an OV13850 camera module, but it looks like it has a different connector, AXE630124 (please see the datasheet at Dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/cc1o7xy3075cnkc/P13V01K.pdf?dl=0)

How would you recommend connecting it to Firelfy?

Alternatively, can you point to suppliers, who can sell OV13850 cameras compatible with your board?

You can take a look at the schematic diagram then you will know how to connect it.As to the supplier, I only know the supplier from china.

The OV13850 will be available on TaoBao. But I don't know when. I got the OV13850 from a factory supplier. ?
