I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 on the AIO-3399J with a 4k screen (HDMI 2.0), and I'm having problems with the display. Everything flickers, the display turns off and back on again every few seconds, I sometimes get green dots in a regular pattern and video playback has a lot of artifacts (parts of the video shown in the wrong location etc).
Everything works fine at lower resolutions. Is there a way to fix this? I think I also had the same artifacts with the preinstalled Android 7.1.Author: penguin Time: 2/28/2019 14:59
Hi anlumo,
Does the 4K display work correctly with other boards or PC ? Author: penguin Time: 2/28/2019 17:28
@anlumo,
If you open the "Screen Setting" application, are there any 4k resolutions listed?
I tried with the 4K LeTV display. No 4k resolution listed there.Author: anlumo Time: 3/27/2019 05:17
The higher resolutions are listed. The screen works fine on other machines with HDMI 2.0.Author: penguin Time: 3/27/2019 16:01 Last edited by penguin In 3/27/2019 16:02 Editor
Which Android firmware do you use?
Better post a video about this, and also the kernel log and android logcat,which help to solve the problem. Author: christa797 Time: 1/13/2026 14:40
