Title: No POE+ Function Support
Last edited by YLCHEN In 6/3/2019 12:03 Editor

Hi,

We tested ROC-RK3399-PC POE expansion board. According to its SPEC, it can support POE+ (802.3 AT, output power 30W). But we only saw 15.4W in our test.

Does anyone have the same problem and know the cause?
Thanks very much.

I wonder what powers your ROC-RK3399-PC board?

Thanks for asking. The PoE Gigabit Switch we're using is VigorSwitch P2261. Here's the link for your reference:

Any update on this?

Hi, YLCHEN. IMO, the board is served as power consumed device, requesting 15.4W.
Anything wrong about this?

Thanks for the reply.
We think the POE expansion board supports POE+ (30W) so the "Power Requested" and "Power Allocated" showed on POE Gigabit Switch should be 30W, instead of 15.4W.
