I have found that I needed to use the windows etcher program to successfully get a SD card to boot.
I tried to just dd the image to the disk, but it never created the paritition tables right (a good image in my case had 5 parititons, one of which is a file system, the rest just mark starting points of trust,boot, etc.
I guess etcher is available for linux also... but dd did not work for me. (that and I was using the wrong image at one point, so even the windows write method was failing)Author: wh_firefly Time: 8/6/2019 16:48
