Does anyone have a parameter text file with 4 GB space for system apps and instruction to flash?
Now I use a custom ROM from freaktab with one unified user space but I think it is time to have a our custom ROM to firefly, who is so skillful to build a custom ROM? Maybe original uptade image should have a bigger space to install apps..
Please who is the brave??
May want to try this change in your parameter file, find the user data and change first set of the parameter. Remember that the number times 512 equals the storage ie as written 0x00200000@0x00214000(userdata) equals 1G 0x00400000@0x00214000(userdata) will equal 2G and etc. This is how I do it, may be wrong, but works for me, so what the heck, it works. Leave the last set of numbers as is, (this may be wrong but it has worked for me up to 4G).

Thanks
Bit do not have parameter file, may you post it?
And how to flash it? I have to unpack original firefly image ,then substitute nodded parameter file and then flash the whole ROM again?
Thank you
This is the earliest I could find, really hope it matches your original. Else you can try this, works for RK3188: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1264. This will dump your software to your SD Card if you have room, follow directions, I believe this is an ADB operation, been about a year and I can not remember or you can try this parameter but may not work and corrupt your install.

DONOT forget to change the parameter name to what ever your AndroidTool says. Have tried to get another on the download that says just parameter. This is for the single boot android only. No matter how you handle it your taking a chance easier to just change existing parameter and reload. To reload parameter make sure rename to original name the one used on the tool? use tool 2.17 v.02 after parameter changes (named per tool) go to loader mode and tick only parameter and then run, if right eveyrthing should be fine with your new storage.
Forgot, but if you stlll have your software from the Freaktab you can use rockchip toolv2.3 if this was an upgrade package. Open 2.3, click on furthest right tab, load firmware from search window, load, then unpack. Problem here is what I have been yelling about, you have to know the name of the original parameter file in your 2.17 tools and rename this parameter to the old parameter.which will be rk3288-uboot-parameter-data----something or other----- instead of just parameter. Use you 2.17 rktool tick JUST parameter and run.
---cappybob P.S. sorry for all the different ways mentioned, from your problem this is probably the best way to go, parameter change do as stated above.
If you are using the Firefly Image, simple solution. you have down loaded tool v2.17 or v2.3. All firefly parameters I have seen are flashed as "rk3288-3.10-uboot-data1G.parameter", NO Rename will be needed so just open the existing parameter in "notepad" then find (user data) as described from above, change and save. Exit rockdev folder after your parameter user data save and Go to android tool tick JUST parameter and run. That is it. I was confused about what you were wanting. Much Sorry.
I have used the r-box parameter on the initial load of some of my images, but do not believe you can change as written a different parameter file. but I rewrite kernel an system images all the time, and I am remembering that they need to be written as a whole image if mixed.
