Hi
How do you completely erase EMMC flash storage from PC?
I use Android_Console_Tool.exe and type
Android_Console_Tool.exe EF RK3288Loader_uboot_V2.17.02.bin in command prompt
It then says 50000 KB or something erased and then boots to maskrom mode.
AndroidTool then says maskrom mode and in different flashtool it has blue color square in Rockchip Batchtool v1.8.
I then flash my firmware again(modded dual-boot firefly firmware) but my previous ROM's userdata and apps is still there, it hasn't been cleaned.
How to completely erase EMMC flash in RK3288 from PC to flash a new ROM?
Want to flash my own modified Firefly dual-boot ROM, so it won't have Android Recovery in Recovery partition because it has been replaced by linux-boot.img to boot Linux from recovery. Misc will then not be able to tell recovery to wipe userdata and cache.
1. Is there a way to completely erase userdata and cache from PC when flashing a dual-boot ROM?
2. Or maybe keep Android Recovery in Recovery partition and put linux-boot.img in a new different partition and be able to boot to it from Android.
I know how to edit parameter file, but how to boot to linux-boot.img in a different partition from Android?
3. Or is it possible to wipe userdata - 'wipe data' command as in terminal but upon first boot automatically before booting to Android homescreen and only the first time firmware is run and then not again.
It would be really nice if help can be provided for above situations and if there is a solution for one of them.
Thanks

Very helpful
Didn't know about the firstboot, will add something like it and see if it works.
@dewet
Had much the same problem, but mine was with the s/d card. Found that the MBR (Parameter) on the s/d card was not being addressed (erased) when changing Operational system and the new MBR (New Parameter) wasn't there. Also when just using it in different formats, including windows. So I found this tool to erase the s/d MBR. https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
