Title: Booting from SD card
Hello,

I am following the directions to boot Ubuntu 18.04 from sd card, using the SD Disk tool and the ubuntu image on the google drive. However, when I plug the sd card into my board, Android boots up instead of ubuntu. Any idea of how to fix this? I followed the steps in the wiki, so I don't think I'm missing anything there. Is there a way for me to force it to boot from the card?

Firefly didn't provide ubuntu18 firmware, where did you get it?
I believe the cause of the problem is the wrong firmware.
Please use ROC-RK3588S-PC Ubuntu20.04 firmware to make SD card.

Maybe you need to format sd card to FAT32 first
And try sd card that is 8 or 16G, bigger than 16G may have problems, the sd tool is bad in compatible

Booting from an SD card can be a game-changer for testing new OS versions or running lightweight systems without touching your main drive. Just make sure your device supports it and that the SD card is fast enough¡ªClass 10 or UHS cards usually give the best performance. Also, double-check the boot order in your BIOS or UEFI to avoid startup issues. Naturopathic Doctor
