【Linux】 Booting from SD card

Hello,

I am following the directions to boot Ubuntu 18.04 from sd card, using the SD Disk tool and the ubuntu image on the google drive. However, when I plug the sd card into my board, Android boots up instead of ubuntu. Any idea of how to fix this? I followed the steps in the wiki, so I don't think I'm missing anything there. Is there a way for me to force it to boot from the card?

Firefly didn't provide ubuntu18 firmware, where did you get it?
I believe the cause of the problem  ...

Now getting a new error- tried two different downloads (most current and second most current) off of the google drive from https://en.t-firefly.com/doc/download/142.html , extracted with 7-zip, but when I hit create, it gives me opening firmware failds
