adb does not detect the device

hi,
I am using your latest android SDK sources, commit : https://gitlab.com/TeeFirefly/RK ... 2d888b03f2ec29b18fb, I'm building it as a SD card firmware.
Using my ubuntu machine I'm connecting the usb cable as explained here :http://wiki.t-firefly.com/ROC-RK3328-CC/android_adb.html
but adb doesn't detect the device, I searched the forum for adb issues and came across this fix : http://bbs.t-firefly.com/forum.p ... 6&highlight=adb
but after rebuilding and reflashing the image my machine still can't detect the device.

any advice? known fix?

I overlooked the setting -> usb -> connect to PC checkbox, I can connect now, though, is there a way to make this checkbox checked by default?
