Problem description and steps to reproduce:
Hi all,
I’m currently working with the EC-R3588SPC board and running the official Ubuntu 22.04 image provided by Firefly. I need to enable the SPI interface to communicate with an external ADC, but I’m a bit stuck.
I’ve already checked the /boot and /dev directories, but I don’t see any SPI devices listed (like /dev/spidevX.Y). I’ve also looked into the device tree overlays, but I’m not sure if I need to recompile a custom DTB or if there’s a simpler way to enable it via overlays or config.
Does anyone have a step-by-step guide (or any advice) for enabling and verifying SPI on this board? Any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks,
Leo ragdoll hit
