2-1. What is purpose of Recover key   
2-2. If role of recover key is recover of software image, what is storage ic of software image.

recover key   is for  upgrade firmware easily.
the storage ic of software image is emmc.

An additional f(x) which I stumbled across, is that if one has a recovery program such as "TWRP or CM" installed this button will boot you into the recovery mode by booting into the recovery.img loaded in Androidtools.   Power up your Firefly while at the same time depressing recovery button until you boot into the recovery.img, then follow the on screen menu.
