Is it possible to have VLAN support in Ubuntu 18.04?

I've tried to install apt vlan package but it seems that 8021q module is missing in rootfs :
root@firefly:/home/firefly# modprobe 8021q
modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/4.4.154/modules.dep.bin'
