Hello,
Need help regarding GPS module.I am trying to interface external GPS module with rk3399 through 4 Pin UART(Vcc, RX, TX, GND).I don't know whether I have to do anything to get the data from GPS or firefly has programmed to do so automatically.

Just contact the GPS supplier to get the driver.
The uart driver is the base of the gps function and it has already okay with that.

I tried this. But it is not working.I was thinking, is it okay to have GPS module that is not provided by Firefly itself? Because I have GPS module with the same specifications that firefly provides. And I am using PL2303 IC as USB to Serial converter and using the driver which firefly has provided on their website.Another important thing is firefly supports 1500000 baud rate and none of the drivers has this option.

The GPS they provided is okay. That was based on uart4 to build it.
U just get the driver  and put them under hardware/rockchip/gps to complie.
1.5M baud rate was used for debugging serial port , and i do not kown what are you want to convey

As i am new to Android and Firefly, Can you share the procedure/steps for how to compile the driver? Also if you can provide the steps to reach the location hardware/rockchip/gps.

Also if you can help me for how to access the .dts file from kernel that will be a great help for my development.

Thanks

The GPS module which I have has PL2303 IC (to convert serial to USB) but somehow it is not working with firefly rk3399. And I have downloaded the driver for that particular IC but still I am not getting the data from GPS module.
The drivers which I have downloaded from prolific(Link: http://www.prolific.com.tw/US/Sh ... _id=230&pcid=41) are in form of android application and I tried to run those applications in rk3399 but not receiving anything.
Do you think we can put these drivers in the location(hardware/rockchip/gps ) that you suggested?

I tried to find the gps folder under rockchip but it is not there.(See this link: https://gitlab.com/TeeFirefly/Fi ... 9/hardware/rockchip).So,do we have to create gps folder by our self?
And can you share drivers for PL2303/resource for that driver which will work with rk3399?
