Actually, I have 2 questions, the main question is as the subject describes - how can one add 1280x800 screen resolution for Android and Linux?
Second question, what shell I configure to make working my LCD panel connected via LVDS? Actually my panel has 1280x800 resolution and this is why I am asking how one can support it.

Finally, what is pripority between LVDs and HDMI? IS the HDMI has first priority, where is LVDS? Is it third after VGA?

Thank you in advance, Vlad.

Hi Liatoss:
You can refer to the wiki to configure the kernel, such as: http://wiki.t-firefly.com/index.php/Firefly-RK3288/DSI/en
You can put the resolution of the LCD panel to TDS.
Firefly-RK3288 can display in HDMI and LCD at the same time, and HDMI higher priority than the VGA

Hello,

It looks like your link is more about support LVDS connection in 1280x800. How can I support the same resolution with HDMI?

I found several files as follows:
/kernel/drivers/video/rockchip/hdmi/hdmi_lcdc.c
/kernel/drivers/video/rockchip/hdmi/hdmi_lcdc.h
/kernel/drivers/video/rockchip/hdmi/rk_hdmi.h - enumerator for all possible resolutons...

What is the correct way to support such a resolution via HDMI as well as via LVDS?

Tyank you, Vlad.

After several years of waiting the reply, just found what does the original reply means. Takling into account the fact, the WiKi has been moved, the "DSI" means "MIPI DSI Use" for RK3288.
For those who might be interested, hereby is an actual link (Jan 2020): http://wiki.t-firefly.com/en/Firefly-RK3288/driver_mipi_dsi.html

Thx, Vlad.
