CPU temperature fanless

Hi, is it possible to run the Firefly Rk3288 without the cooling fan, only with the heatsink? Does it overheat when the CPU comes to high usage (e.g. playing 4k videos or playing games)?
Thanks for your answers.

Have found that one will be safe for anything, for the chip is thermally protected.  I ran my Firefly with an oc'ed kernel with just a heatsink on the cpu.  Abused it and never saw any thing above 60-C, with the fan added it never went above 45-C abused.  There are several apps available from google play which will allow a real time temperature overlay on screen.  Have fun, the temp overlay is something which you may want, if extreme gaming with an extreme oc, for the extra piece of mind.

I found an old south bridge mother board and cut my own to fit the acrylic case.  Used a safe heat transferring tape to affix.  Firefly board under acrylic top spaced with SSD attached on bottom acrylic.
