Trying to get Sierra MC7354 working

I have been trying to get Sierra MC7354 working on the Firefly-RK3399, Android 7.1.
I have made all the changes given by Sierra, and added DHCPCD as required.

The problem I am running into is SELINUX. I am not able to disable it.
I have tried turning off the SELINUX module by disabling it in the kernel.
I have tried disabling it using the bootparam flags.
In these cases the Android refuses to boot up.
I have also tried disabling using setenforce 0 at boot up.
In this case it shows that SELINUX is permissive, but I still see in the logs that the apps are being denied access.

Is there a way to disable SELINUX, or do we need to modify the policy for all required accesses? That would be a big task.

Thanks for any help.

BTW: I am not able to use the search engine on this site. Anything I search it gives zero results. It seems the search is very restrictive case sensitive search.
