Ubuntu 18.04 Desktop won't start after upgrade

If I install Ubuntu 18.04 and allow the software updater to run, the desktop will not ever start again after reboot. I have the same problem with Ubuntu 16.04 and Debian. Is there a workaround for this? I have tried multiple SD cards and the EMMC. The result is always the same after the software is updated. At that point, the only access that I have to the RK3328 is via the RS-232 console. |
