Android8.1 Hdmi Resolution Preference Missing

In the Android 7.1 there is a Hdmi Resolution option in the settings app. This appears to be missing in Android8.1. Is there a patch somewhere that can be used to add this back into Android8.1?

Thanks. Is there a timeline for when this might be supported? Or do you have any information that could help me add the preference myself? A patch would be great, but even just a list of files/classes to look at would be helpful.

Btw, I just noticed I posted this in the wrong area. It was meant to be in the RK3399 area.
