RK3566 is a new-gen chip product of Rockchip. With 22nm lithography process, the chip is quad-core, and has a main frequency of up to 1.8GHz. It has built-in GPU, VPU and NPU. Compared with the previous-gen products, the newly added NPU makes RK3566 more suitable for the fields of AI computing and edge computing, expanding more application scenarios.
Firefly has launched two products based on RK3566 — ROC-RK3566-PC Mini Computer and Station M2 Geek PC. Compared with the previous-gen products, the RK3566 products, in addition to the upgraded CPU, also feature several remarkable upgrades in product design:
1. LPDDR4/4X RAM, up to 8GB; 2. Supports SSD, and adds SPI Flash; 3. 2.4GHz/5GHzWiFi; 4. Adds 8M ISP and MIPI-CSI interface; 5. Adds MIPI-DSI interface, supporting 1920*1080@60Hz.
