Firefly Reload HDMI input custom Android app

Hi,

I need to make a custom Android app that takes HDMI input video & audio from Firefly Reload and plays it. The app has other functionalities which are required in addition to the HDMI input. Is there any documentation/How to for using the HDMI input in Android or can someone direct me to the appropriate code in the Android SDK 'firefly-rk3288_android5.1_git_20150910.tar' from google drive link at http://wiki.t-firefly.com/index. ... wnload_Android_SDK?

Hi

After downloading the SDK, you can follow this guide to update the SDK to the latest code, that includes the latest HDMI-IN code.

Here are all the HDMI-IN changes that was made to the SDK:

You can search for any word eg. wifi, audio etc in the commits section to see all source code changes for it.

Thanks mo123 for your reply. I can now look at the source code relevant to the HDMI input.

Unfortunately, I am not quite familiar with Android or Linux kernel dev. But it seems that HDMI input is programmed as a camera HAL. So, just want to confirm if HDMI input device can be used as a standard camera device for Android app development?
