USB Audio is not properly handled

I tried this with the August pre-built image.
Plug in a USB audio device.
Sound should automatically switch over to USB audio
Remove the USB audio device
Sound switched back to HDMI/analog out
Neither of these actions works right.
Plug in USB audio -- HDMI/analog stop working, but USB does not start
Remove USB audio -- HDMI/analog don't restart |
