Why is two interface on the OV13850 camera module?

Why is two interface on the OV13850 camera module? I mean the white ribbon cable and the other 10 pin black pin headers, because the camera is working well without connecting the black pin headers...
(Sorry, I asked it in another post but cannot get answer)
