I am using a May 2017 Ubuntu firmware on my RK3399, but I notice that there is a November 2017 firmware update, which presumably has some improvements.  Can anyone say what those improvements are, whether there are any issues with them, and is it possible to just flash the kernel, keeping the filesystem as is?

I have tried out the November image. Generally it works well (haven't tried out earlier images, so I can't compare), but the sound card wasn't found. May be a solvable issue, I haven't tried hard.
