I have some questions and initial feedback. On the whole the Firefly RK3399 system looks good, both physically and in terms of function. It boots fine, and runs smoothly.
The fan is loud, and seems to immediately come on at full speed. Is there a way of setting it so that it only spins as fast as needed?
I had no luck using my M.2 drive. Is anything needed in this version of the kernel to enable it? Gparted doesn't see it, and I'd like to know if there's anything needed to proceed before checking to see if it's something wrong with the drive.
The amount of eMMC memory available to Linux is disappointing. I have no use for Android. Is there a way to nondestructively resize the partitions to use them rest under Linux, or do I need to install it again? I can't work out the boot loader, and Parted is confused
I'd appreciate any help with these issues. |
