Hello.

             HD Monitor    UHD Monitor
Android 7.1.1    OK            OK
Xubutu 16.04    OK            FAIL

Android 7.1.1: Firefly-RK3399_Android7.1.1_MP_170829.img or Firefly-RK3399_Android7.1.1_MP_180122.img
Xubutu 16.04: Firefly-rk3399_xubuntu1604_201705111112.img or Firefly-RK3399_xubuntu1604_201711301130.img

Is there any other version of official Xubuntu from Firefly which fixes this problem?

BTW, scale mode (100%/Cinema/Wide/General) of my UHD monitor is not perfectly supported in Android 7.1.1 in that it fails to display any image in 100% scale mode although HDMI signal is emitted to the monitor.

Thanks in advance.

hi,
you need to updat resource.img
or add these at the end of ‘rk3399-firefly-linux.dts’ , then compilie..
  1. &hdmi_in_vopb {
  2. status = "okay";
  3. };
Copy the code

resource.rar

Thanks to luvings.

Updating the Resource partition with the luvings' attached 'resource.img' works with my UHD monitor.
(Firefly-RK3399_xubuntu1604_201711301130.img)

I'll try with modifying device tree as recommened by luvings tonight in my spare time.

BTW, be warned not to use too long path for resource.img in AndroidTool v2.38.
