MMC Error

Hi

i am currently booting a new firefly board from an SDCard containing a Debian image and I keep getting these errors when i am logged in over minicom:

mmcblk0: error -110 sending status command, retrying
mmcblk0: error -115 sending stop command, original cmd response 0x900, card status 0x900
mmcblk0: error -84 transferring data, sector 1097784, nr 256, cmd response 0x900, card status 0x0
mmc_host mmc0: Bus speed (slot 0) = 400000Hz (slot req 400000Hz, actual 400000HZ div = 0)
mmc_host mmc0: Bus speed (slot 0) = 50000000Hz (slot req 50000000Hz, actual 50000000HZ div = 0)
mmcblk0: error -84 transferring data, sector 219840, nr 8, cmd response 0x900, card status 0xb00
mmc_host mmc0: Bus speed (slot 0) = 400000Hz (slot req 400000Hz, actual 400000HZ div = 0)
mmc_host mmc0: Bus speed (slot 0) = 50000000Hz (slot req 50000000Hz, actual 50000000HZ div = 0)

While the board is operational I would like to understand if there is any issue.

On an older Firefly RK3288 board I do not see any issues with the same image.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

By older I mean a board we ordered about a year ago. The older board has a brown base board but the new one was ordered a couple of weeks ago and has a black base boards.

Thanks

Hi
these two boards have very little changes,so it shouldn't show different results with the same image,
Can you use the SDcard when the system is ready?(android or ubuntu )
please make sure the hardware is ok.

I can use the SD Card on Ubunut but not without seeing the error i described above consistently on the serial port.

I also see some Bus Errors when trying to do any file accesses.

Hi
I have tried boot a ubuntu image from SDCard with the hardware version "20160623" like yours, But I haven't get any error log of mmcblk0 like yours .
So,about your debian image, did you make it by yourself? which kernel did you use?

Kernel version is 4.1.0 and its the same used across both boards. Also trying it on a board with a date 2016-11-16 seems to work

The ones labeled 2016.06.23 seem to have an issue

Hi
how many boards labeled 2016.06.23 do you have?
All of them have the issue?
