I can only find the tutorial using the Windows tool SD_Firmware_Tool._v1.45 http://wiki.t-firefly.com/index. ... t_Ubuntu_from_sd/en

Is there a Linux version of the tool?

Simply flashing Firefly-RK3288_SDBoot_Ubuntu14.04_201503021436.img into the SD card does not work, I get no serial console.

The eMMC image Firefly-RK3288_Ubuntu14.04_201607222032.img works.
