How to create an image out of a running system?

I have a firefly RK3288 flashed withUbuntu only .

I installed some software on my Firefly board from which I would liketo backup in such a way to create a final image to apply it on other boards (I have 2 boardsfirefly RK3288)

Instead of repeating all the steps and spend more time on thatis there a way to create an image so later I can flash other cards with ?

Thank you for sending me the steps and procedures, tools preferred for windows OS 7 unless it is not possible then Linux will be the second choice.
