As a suggestion, could you consider including a power adapter cable that converts to a 2.5mm DC connector instead of USB? Alternatively, it might be worth exploring the possibility of changing the on-board connector to a 2.5mm/2.1mm DC jack. This would align with the standards commonly used across the embedded (industrial) boards we work with, as most of them support this type of connector.
