rkisp1: MIPI mis error

Hi I'm using a custom MIPI Adapter board in Firefly AIO3399J board running Android 8.1 . I'm facing MIPI mis error and its causing issues with the camera streaming.

The following MIPI mis errors are occuring at different instances.

rkisp1: MIPI mis error: 0x00000004
rkisp1: MIPI mis error: 0x00000006
rkisp1: MIPI mis error: 0x00000001
rkisp1: MIPI mis error: 0x00000300

How to diagonise these errors ? Can you help us find what each of this MIPI mis error means ?

Yes, I have seen them but knowing which registers are set , do not offer much information on the exact reasons for the issue. Can you share the RK3399 MIPI CSI2 datasheet so we can find what these registers are and why they are set.

Right now the registers that are set for my issue seems to be
CIF_MIPI_SYNC_FIFO_OVFLW for the MIPI mis error 0x00000006 , 0x00000004 and 0x00000001
CIF_MIPI_ERR_SOT_SYNC for the MIPI mis error 0x00000300

If you can tell me what these registers are and in which cases they are set , it would be really helpful.

I haven't those register datasheet neither. This is a trial and error process.
Please make sure the frame format is correctly set.
