Lack of OS for Firefly-RK3399?

Hi,

I really love everything about Firefly-RK3399 hardware but I can't find any decent operating system for it.
Ubuntu provided by Firefly is out of date and not actively maintained.
No 3rd party OS works out of the box and lately they all fail to install and work correctly.
Even Armbian. As of right now nothing works on RK3399.

Whats going on? How am I supposed to even use it? It's a shame because the hardware is really super cool.

Andy arranged to send me the necessary samples, wait a little, soon there will be a full-fledged Armbian and Libreelec for this model.

There is instructions page. I recommend you to buy appropriate UART cable in order to check if something goes wrong (e.g. bad u-boot build)
