Following the ROC-RK3568-PC documentation (https://wiki.t-firefly.com/en/ROC-RK3568-PC/01-bootmode.html), I found that it's possible to boot directly from either the eMMC or SDMMC interface in normal mode. The development board comes pre-installed with Android 11.0 on the eMMC, which I successfully tested with an HDMI display and USB peripherals.
I recently compiled my own custom Android 11.0 build following the instructions provided in the compilation guide (https://wiki.t-firefly.com/en/RO ... d11.0_firmware.html), resulting in the ROC-RK3568-PC_Android11_HDMI_241111.img image (using the public compilation method for the ROC-RK3568-PC).
My question is: How can I burn this image to an SD card and boot the system from it instead of the eMMC? Is this possible? If so, what steps are required? If it’s not feasible to boot directly from the SD card, should I use a firmware upgrade tool to overwrite the eMMC with this new Android version from the SD card? How can I do it?
Could you also provide, or direct me to, a file that details the complete boot process for this board? It would be greatly appreciated!
Note: My host computer is a Ubuntu 24.04
