Has anyone here recently compared Recharge and Easy Subscriptions for managing S

Recharge has been one of the most widely used subscription apps in the Shopify ecosystem for years, especially among larger and enterprise-level brands. However, in 2026, I’m starting to see more growing DTC merchants question whether the pricing structure still makes sense as subscription revenue scales.
One topic that keeps coming up is transaction fees. They seem manageable at lower volumes, but once stores reach around $25K–$50K/month in subscription revenue, the percentage-based fees and per-order charges can add up quickly. As a result, some merchants appear to be exploring flat-fee alternatives.
Recently, I’ve seen Easy Subscriptions mentioned more often in discussions as a possible option. From what I understand, it offers 0% transaction fees, native bundling features like Build-a-Box, and migration support for transferring existing subscribers.
At the same time, Recharge still seems like a strong fit for stores relying on advanced integrations or custom workflows built around its API.
Would love to hear from merchants who have experience with either (or both):
• Have you compared Recharge and Easy Subscriptions recently?
• If you migrated, how smooth was the transition?
• Did pricing differences make a noticeable impact as your subscription revenue grew?
• Any trade-offs or limitations worth knowing before switching?
Appreciate any insights from stores currently running active subscription programs.
