CPU/Ram area Measurement

Posted at 12/17/2014 04:27:28      View:5538 | Replies:5        Print      Only Author   [Copy Link] 1#

Im working on getting my heatsinks together for when my board arrives next week, would someone be so kind as to measure the area that the ram and cpu cover? by that i mean how big is the square that contains the ram and cpu in cm on each side. I would also like to know if the height of the CPU is higher, lower, or equal to the ram. I marked the measurements i need on the image in yellow. Thank you in advance

I would say the CPU and RAM are almost equal so you may need a thermal pad of some kind to avoid spreading the heat to the RAM chips.
