[help] How to use usb type c for display

I am using android 6.1 on firefly-rk3399 board.
The firefly-rk3399 board has HDMI and Type-C (usb 3.0,dp 1.2) ports.
Now, my board only outputs HDMI.
I want to display the screen through the Type-C (usb 3.0, dp 1.2) port.
(Even if it's not a dual monitor, it's good to have only Type-C output.)

Should I upgrade my Android version?
I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to solve it.
