Any hope?

Is there any hope of getting hardware acceleration and support for the mali part of the rk3399 at all? I put some work into setting up a battery powered "laptopy" thingy with a firefly-rk3399 and the 7.85" monitor hoping to be able to run linux at least on a level that I can scroll a simple webpage without major lag. Seems like the only option to be able to use this hardware in a way that's  decent enough is by running Android.

Sadly I'm starting to look for alternatives to the firefly card since the software part is way off even though I've waited quite a bit for it to mature.

I'm right there with you guys. I soft bricked my board last week and made a post about it 3 days ago and have received no reply since. I also asked about installing Arch a month ago and received no response. The lack of community is really one of the most frustrating aspects of owning this board.

I find myself wishing I had waited for another hevc 10bit capable board.

Software support is very lacking as well
