Bluetooth LE Advertisement on Android

Hi,

We're using the FirePrime device for some testing on a prototype and when attempting to use the Android BTLE APIs for advertising we get a null BluetoothLeAdvertiser from the BlueoothAdapter and a message in the log saying:

07-09 16:21:37.590 E/BluetoothAdapter( 8837): bluetooth le advertising not supported

Bluetooth is on the device and we were wondering if this is indeed a limitation on the hardware or if there's something we need to do software-side to enable BTLE advertisement?
