Dear All,

When I use this img, i cant get sound from hdmi part. I mean the sound comes from speaker output of board but cant get from tv speaker. So how can i change it as default hdmi output. I checked at ubuntu and couldnt chnaged it.

Try to configure pulse audio to use the alsa backend where HDMI sound device is used.

When I try to play using vlc, i get this error msg. Also if i play same video as gst-launch-1.0 uridecodebin uri=.... ! rkximagesink, for 4K video there is no problem for video but cant get sound. So also i tried ;
pactl list short sinks and saw that ;
0     alsa_output.platform-hdmi-dp-sound.stereo-fallback module-alsa-card.c  s16le   2ch    44100Hz   suspended
1     alsa_output.platform-rt5640-dp-sound.stereo-fallback module-alsa-card.c  s16le   2ch    44100Hz   suspended

and i did pactl set-default-source 'alsa_output.platform-hdmi-dp-sound.stereo-fallback' .But nothing changed. Always sound comes from speaker (rt5640). How can i solve it and which player is the best for 4K video and oudio?

I'll find time to have a thorough check on video playing.

The problem is identified by the missing mpg123 gstreamer plugin  in /opt/gstreamer.

To fix this, reference

   http://bbs.t-firefly.com/forum.p ... amp;extra=#pid11605

to get the uptodate gstreamer debs installed.

Then you can use the /usr/local/bin/play-4k.sh to play 4k video with sound.
