Hi

I have a board model firefly-rk3399, i installed ubunu 16.I want to send a signal with one free GPIO
The problem is I don't have a clue on how to do this.

I found ( /sys/class/gpio )and did the following.

1) echo 12 > export

2) cd  /sys/class/gpio/gpio12

3) echo "out" > direction and echo 1 > value

But did not work and please guide?????

thanks

My Signal is very weak, but it seems to be working gpio12... i plug a led on the signal coming from the board but the brightness is almost nothing...
Any suggestion about boosting the signal coming from the gpio?
