【General】 ROC-RK3588S-PC Which Firmware Supports UEFI Boot?

Problem description and steps to reproduce:
Hi I see on https://en.t-firefly.com/product/industry/rocrk3588spc, that "UEFI Boot is also available", but I don't see the bootefi command available in uboot:

  1. => bootefi
  2. Unknown command 'bootefi' - try 'help'
Copy the code

I've tried both the Ubuntu firmware and the Android12.0 firmware, but both give the same results. Does one of the official firmware downloads support UEFI boot, or do I need to build my own uboot?

It seems that the Buildroot and Debian firmware also do not support UEFI.

Sorry for the late reply. UEFI Boot is still testing and ROC-RK3588S-PC will support it soon.

What are the instructions for building it? If I update to v1.0.4b and use the following commands:

  1. cd uefi
  2. bash -e make.sh
Copy the code

I get the following error:

  1. ...
  2. ********boot_merger ver 1.2********
  3. Info:Pack loader ok.
  4. pack loader okay! Input: /home/user/rk3588_repo_sdk_v1.0.2a/rkbin/RKBOOT/RK3588MINIALL.ini
  5. /home/user/rk3588_repo_sdk_v1.0.2a/u-boot
  6. ERROR: pack uboot.img failed! fit/uboot.itb actual: 2127872 bytes, max limit: 2097152 bytes
  7. cp: cannot stat 'uboot.img': No such file or directory
Copy the code

It looks like u-boot has overflowed its partition limit. Is there a patch for it?

uefi need uboot.img , you should build uboot by "./build.sh uboot.img"( UEFI Boot is still testing )
